Formerly associated with a commercial real estate brokerage firm for 13 years, as well as president of a property management firm, John has a history of many transactions involving the sale, lease or acquisition of commercial properties.  Prior to his work as a broker, he was Development Manager for a national apartment and hotel developer and initiated developments in several cities east of the Mississippi.  He also has worked with the Department of Housing and Urban Development and for Cornell University, the latter on a two year assignment in Santiago, Chile.

John holds a Bachelor's of Arts degree (major:  Architecture) and a Master of Arts Degree in Administration, both granted by The University of Minnesota.  He has taken additional course work at The University of Akron and The Ohio State University.

John Mogen serves on the Board of Directors of Akron General Partners and the American Red Cross. He is a director of the Akron Symphony Foundation and Akron Rotary Foundation.   He is a former board member of Sumner on Merriman and of the United Disabilities Services, where he was Chairman of the Building and Grounds Committee.    He also is a member of the Akron Rotary Club, Fairlawn Country Club and the Commerce Club of Akron, of which he is a past president.  He also has served as Co-chairman of the Commercial Industrial Committee of the Akron Area Board of Realtors and was named by AABOR as Commercial Industrial Broker of the Year.

Susan joined Mogen Real Estate Company in January of 2002 and earned her real estate broker's license in February of 2005.  Susan brings 13 years experience in the retail industry with the last three years of her tenure as the Real Estate Manager for a major retail jeweler.  Her duties included managing a database for the company's 1,000 locations, negotiating new lease and renewals and site selection.

Born and raised in the northern Kentucky area, she moved to the Cleveland area in 1981.  She has lived in Bath since 1986 and has been an active community member in the Revere Local Schools, serving on the Executive Board of the Bath Homeowner's Association and on the Bath Township Trustee's Advisory Council.  Susan has a BA in Business from Baldwin Wallace College.  She is an active member of Leadership Akron's Class 19 (2002-2003) and serves on the Board of Directors for Community Support Services (CSS) and Humility of Mary Housing, Inc.

She is involved in the leasing, buying and selling of all types of commercial properties.  Her organizational skills and get-it-done attitude make her a valued addition to the firm.

His current focus includes brokerage services in marketing properties both for sale or lease, assisting buyers and tenants in site selection work and real estate acquisition projects.

John has brought to us his experience in residential real estate sales and also years of retail business history.  He is part of the January Paint family, which has long held the reputation for quality and integrity in our Akron marketplace.  John serves on the Board of Directors of Goodwill Industries of Akron.

A devoted husband and father, John enjoys activities that involve the family.  He is an enthusiastic participant in Akron's many artistic and civic activities.

Ed serves a number of different roles for Mogen Real Estate Company.  In addition to selling and leasing all types of commercial properties, Ed also is the Property Manager for a 72-unit complex of townhouses in Stow, a 25,000 SF office building in Green and a 35,000 SF retail/office complex in the Portage Lakes.

Ed is a life long resident of the Akron area.  Ed joined Mogen Real Estate Company after three years as a loan officer at First Merit Bank where he gained valuable experience dealing with the public sector.

Ed earned a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University where he had a dual major of Finance and Real Estate.  Ed was a member of the Real Estate Club at The Ohio State University and has been a member of the downtown Akron Kiwanis Club.

Ed lives in Stow with his wife, Wanda, and their two children, Macy and Andy.

William is involved in marketing commercial properties for sale or lease. He also represents buyers and tenants who are seeking real estate for their use or investment purposes. 

He has lived in Akron all of his life.  After graduating from The Ohio State University with a degree in Economics, he joined the Peace Corps. He served that organization for over two years in Costa Rica as an advisor and developer for small businesses.  One of his accomplishments was the establishment of a community-run Internet café.

William enjoys volunteering and getting involved with his community.  He currently participates as a Big Brother and is working with other community organizations.

An Akron native with 18 years of experience at UPS, he has a unique and exceptional understanding of the business patterns in the Greater Akron area.  As founder of his own real estate investment company, he has additional insight into all aspects of the real estate process.

Michael is involved in community advocacy groups to maintain an active role in local issues. 

Michael is a graduate of The University of Akron with a Bachelor's of Science as well as additional Master's level courses.  He now resides with his wife in a southern Cleveland suburb and enjoys spending time with family.
